Collective Bargaining for Kids

. Wednesday, April 12, 2006

I often read these two books together. Click, Clack, Moo! Cows That Type is a great story about the power of collective bargaining of farm animals against "The Man" Farmer Brown. The cows want electric blankets in the barn because it's cold at night. Farmer Brown refuses. So the cows take action... The first time I read this book, I literally laughed outloud. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 carrots.

Giggle, Giggle, Quack is a worthy follow up to Click, Clack, Moo. In this book, Farmer Brown goes on vacation and has his brother, Bob, watch all of the animals. Funny stuff insues. I give this book 4 out of 5 carrots.
