Neat. Were you there as part of a tour, or did you go on your own? I went here:

http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2004/02/02-17-04tdc/02-17-04dnews-03.asp with some friends back in 1991. It was great, but really scary as we were alone, and had no idea what we were doing. Luckily, we made it out with no trouble. It was incredible, though...wandering around in darkness, only the flashlights to guide us...I mean, it was pitch black. Just went we thought we were stuck with no way out, we'd find a tiny little passage we could squeeze through. If you were a really large person, there is no way you were getting in that cave! Very tight spots. I remember crossing one area and not being sure if we were going to make it...it was like a tigh rope, very skinny area, and below it was....nothing. Had we fallen, who knows where we would have landed!

Anyway, that was the one and only time I did that...I don't think I'll ever do it again, but it wa fun then! :-) When I was young and foolish. ;-)

That link didn't work for the story about the cave. Try this one:

What the heck? Ok, let me try this again...I don't know why it keeps posting like that. Go here:

http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2004/02/02-17-04tdc/02-17-04tdc/02-17-04dnews-03.asp

If this one doesn't work I'm going to give up! If this doesn't work and you're really interested, just do a search for 4 J Cavern State College Pa. :-)
