Happy 6th Anniversary

Mrs. Bunny and I get married six years ago today. And it wasn't exactly what we planned. Mrs. Bunny was having major problems with her tonsils, and we eventually had to make a trip to the emergency room because they were so swollen. The ER doctor said that they were starting to abcess and they needed to be removed in the near future. The two of us were living together at that point and were going to get married that September. But being that she didn't have any health insurance and the tonsils needed to be taken care of right away, we were in a bit of a pickle. My wife's regular doctor recommended getting married by the JP so that she could be on my insurance. So early that week, we went to City Hall to fill out all of the necessary paperwork. That Wednesday, during my lunch-hour, my wife met me at work, and we walked over to City Hall in Rochester, NY (it was literally one block from my work) and got married. It was Mrs. Bunny, me, the JP, and his secretary (to act as a witness). Mrs. Bunny wanted to keep it a secret because her parents were the type to try and force us to cancel the big church wedding in September.

So when it was all done, we walked back to work, we took our rings off, and I went back to work. Inside, the office was having a meeting that I snuck into late. I gave the "thumbs up" to the secretary whom was one of the few people at work that knew what we were doing.
