Even though the weather was nicer today than yesterday, my legs were still feeling flat. These rolling hills in Nebraska were more challenging than one would think they would be. So it was another “put your head down and ride” day. The scenery sucked. The roads sucked. I was just having a sucky day. Even though we “only” went about 60 miles today, the day just dragged and dragged. It seemed like everyone else was starting to tire psychologically as well.

The highlight of the day (if you want to call it that) was visiting Carhenge. Carhenge is exactly what you would guess it to be. It’s a replication of Stonehenge but is made of old cars.

Stayed at a church in Alliance. I just vegged out most of the day and worked on writing my daily letter to Laura. It was rough getting a good night’s sleep that night as the snorers were out in full force. I eventually found a nook in the church that was out of earshot of everyone else. I was hoping that I would feel better soon and get my groove back because it was all long rides (80+ miles per day) for the several days.
