Legislative Action Alert!

Please take a moment to visit the new JRGBC Political Action Center . This new tool will allow us to keep you informed about bills at the State level that affect the green building community in Virginia. The Action Center makes it easy for you to contact your legislator to weigh in on a particular bill and have a say in your government.

You can go to the Action Center and see all six bills listed on the right and sign in to send a letter or email to your legislator based on your zip code. We would also urge you to call your legislator directly or stop by to visit them. If you don't know who your Delegate or Senator is, you can find it in the Action Center after you sign in or by clicking HERE and then clicking on the link "Who's My Legislator?" Also, see LEED/USGBC Summary , LEED School & Gov't Initiatives , and LEED in Gov't by Type to help prepare your correspondence or visit to your legislator.

Remember, this is a short session, so time is of the essence. Please get involved and let your legislators know you care about high performance buildings! Please contact the JRGBC if you have any questions about using the Action Center or about the bills listed: legislation@jrgbc.org
