Boo Jr's Report Card

. Thursday, April 10, 2008

Boo Jr brought his report card home yesterday and we were very happy with his results. In Kindergarten, you get an E (excells), S (satisfactory), M (marginal), or an N (needs improvement). Those grades aren't meant to correlate to A, B, C, etc. My son's teacher explained prior to the first report card that you have to perform solidly above grade level to get an E in anything. I don't have the report card in front of me so I might be off with some of the subject names, but Boo Jr got 4 Es this marking period! He got all Ss in the first marking period except for an M in "motor skills". He got the same grades during the second marking period but got an E in "writing skills". So for the third marking period, Boo Jr got Es in writing skills, reading skills, science, and work ethic. He also moved up to an S for motor skills. Keep up the great work, son!

Good job little bunny. :)

Did you take him for an ice cream cone? When I was young, there was a local place that you would take your report card to, to get a free ice cream cone. lol
